We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mid-Level SQA Engineer to join our growing team at iNiLabs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our web and mobile applications through comprehensive manual and automated testing practices.

As a Mid-Level SQA Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify issues early, improve software quality, and ensure smooth product releases. You will play an important role in maintaining the reliability and user experience of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and product documentation to create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform end-to-end functional, regression, integration, usability, cross-browser, cross-device, and mobile application testing to ensure product quality and reliability across different platforms, operating systems, and environments.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and test suites to improve test coverage, enhance QA efficiency, and reduce manual testing efforts.
• Conduct API testing using Postman and REST APIs, validating request and response structures, authentication mechanisms, business logic, and system integrations.
• Execute database validation and backend testing using SQL queries to ensure data consistency, integrity, and accuracy across application modules.
• Perform performance, load, stress, and scalability testing to identify system bottlenecks, assess application stability, and mitigate quality risks before production releases.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using tools such as Jira, collaborating closely with developers to investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and validate fixes.
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, QA discussions, and stakeholder communications to ensure software meets business requirements, quality standards, and user expectations.
• Evaluate and contribute to the implementation of QA tools, testing frameworks, and best practices while providing accurate test reports and quality insights to project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Experience with test case creation, test execution, and defect reporting.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Experience in API testing using Postman or REST-based services.
• Strong SQL skills for database validation and backend testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of Git version control systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Basic understanding of performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Familiarity with mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms.
• Exposure to security testing concepts and best practices.
